Bowl for Art 2011 brought in a total of $3,551.52 in Donations and Pledges!
31 bowlers came out to bowl on April 30th, and fun was had by all.

Bowl for Art is The Upstate Artists Guild's second annual fundraising event. This is always a fun way for members, friends, and family to get together in support of a great community arts group!
Our goal for 2011 is $25,000 and you can help us get there! It's fun and easy to participate. Team up with friends, colleagues and family and join us for the Bowling PARTY! You don't have to be a bowler to Bowl for Art.

Collect your Pledges
There are two ways to collect donations:
1. Once you are registered, you can collect sponsor donations and keep track of them by printing out and using this sheet, also available at the gallery.
2. You can also invite your sponsors to pledge online here. Once you've registered to participate, your sponsors can make secure online donations in your name.
Teams are comprised of 4 to 5 players and are required to raise a minimum of $100 to participate.
Individuals are encouraged to participate
Prizes will be awarded to those individuals who raise over $300 and $500
Prizes will also be awarded for best uniform and best team uniform!
Bring your completed Sponsor Donation Form with you on the day you bowl and turn it in with your collected donations.

Bowl for Art is a bowling party for the community and an annual fundraiser for The Upstate Artists Guild.
Before the Bowling Party: Friends, colleagues and family members form Bowl for Art Teams, and ask others to sponsor their participation with donations. Teams are comprised of four to five Bowlers and raise a minimum of $100 for The Upstate Artists Guild.
At the Bowling Party: Teams enjoy Bowl for Art FUN? free bowling, prizes, and give-a-ways!
After the Bowling Party: All donations are acknowledged by The Upstate Artists Guild.
All funds raised through the 2011 Bowl for Art will provide our arts community with a space to exhibit art, learn about art, and share knowledge among our friends and members to grow through the arts in our region. The UAG brings you First Friday each month, and will continue to bring exhibiting opportunities to local artists as well as expand our educational programs in our region for years to come.
When is Bowl For Art held?
Bowl For Art is held on Saturday, April 30th from 12:30 to 3:30 pm, at Sunset Lanes in Albany, NY.
Who Can Participate?
Everyone! Bowl For Art is a family-friendly event open to all ages. Individuals and groups representing companies, schools, clubs, professional and civic organizations not to mention friends and family members all create teams and participate in Bowl for Art. Create your Team today!
How Do Bowlers Register for the 2011 Bowl for Art online?
Go to the register to bowl page and complete the online process. Once the registration is complete, a confirmation email receipt will be sent to the Bowler to confirm participation. There is a one-time $10 fee for registering which covers shoe rental and reserves a spot at the bowling alley.
Can people make donations to a specific Bowler online?
Yes. Colleagues, friends neighbors, and family members can sponsor a bowler online using our pledging page.
Are Prizes Awarded for Participation?
Yes! The Upstate Artists Guild truly appreciates your support. Prizes will be awarded throughout the evening on April 30th.
