Is the Polaroid image dead? Has the digital photographic revolution of our time rendered the instantaneous sidecar to old school film completely inert? Before Polaroid could die its death at the hands of its own company, a grass roots project to help save the instant film was started. Now it seems Polaroid may be back before many even knew it was gone. Only time will tell. With Polaroid we have the instant gratification many artists crave with the reality of light and film. Analog chemicals, smells, blurs, light blobs, and its unmistakable white border. Instant art. Instant images. Instant reflections on the creative process. Experience our BiPOLAROID mini exhibit in the right brain of the UAG, the subconscious side room.
UAG presents BiPOLAROID featuring Polaroid pictures in the UAG Gallery's side room, running concurrently with ARTributes in the main gallery.
