Chutes and Ladders, Monopoly, Twister, Spin the Bottle, Dungeons and Dragons, and more. All the games we play in life can be so much fun. Are they a distraction from the seemingly endless void waiting for us all at the end of life? Are they the meaning of life itself? You tell me. I'm too busy playing games with my Facebook pals.
UAG presents Games, with Featured artist, Diana Diriwaechter, and side room artist, George Guarino.
George Guarino will present 3 pieces of Art-Hypnosis in the side room of UAG beginning First Friday, November 5, 2010 at 5pm.
1. Let's Play Know
2. May I Hypnotize You To
3. Find Your Point Inside
Guarino explores the relationship between the viewer, the gallery space and using a piece of art as a focal point for personal insight. His canvas is the space between the viewer and the picture. Through verbal suggestion participants will be given the opportunity to begin anew their ability to know what they need to spend their time knowing, doing, and discovering. They will be conditioned to take this new understanding with them as they leave the gallery and return to their daily activities.
George Guarino, CH is a certified hypnotist and artist exploring the relationship between hypnosis and art.
